WVSOAR extends an extra special thanks to Bob Evans Farm for graciously allowing us to fly at the farm. You can visit the Bob Evans Restaurant Page - includes other activities happening at the Bob Evans Farm.
These dates are ALL for Bob Evans Farms and Spaceport in Rio Grande, Ohio. The RED outline denotes the launch date. Launch times begin at 10:00am and are valid until 7:00pm or until we give up, whichever comes first. Directions to the Spaceport are at the bottom of this page. WVSOAR meetings are now held at the launch site instead of at the hobby shop.

Bob Evans Farms And Spaceport - Rio Grande, Ohio. Just off Route 35
We may be the West Virginia Society of Amateur Rocketry, but our regular launch is at Bob Evans Farm (and Spaceport) in Rio Grande, Ohio.
This is approximately a one hour drive from the WV capital of Charleston. It's a short trip down I-64 and then a lovely drive through the farmlands along the Kanawha River on Rt. 35.
